App Usage Restrictions

Next HiCar strictly restricts apps that may affect driving safety. You cannot open apps marked with a "P" badge in the lower-right corner of the icon while driving — such apps can only be used when the vehicle is parked.

These apps appear grayed out and cannot be tapped while the vehicle is in motion.

Some vehicle models or devices may not correctly report the vehicle's driving status, which could allow these apps to still be used while driving. We recommend closing such apps when driving and only using them when parked.
