Entering Driving Mode

After updating to a HiCar version that supports Driving Mode, there are two ways to enter: first-time entry and subsequent automatic entry.

First-Time Entry​

The first-time entry to Driving Mode is simple. After updating to a HiCar version with Driving Mode, follow these steps:

Settings > More Connections > HiCar Smart Travel > Tap the four dots icon in the top right corner > Create desktop shortcut.

After this operation, you will see the "Driving Mode" icon on your desktop. Tap the icon to enter Driving Mode.

Automatic Entry​

The Driving Mode settings provide an option to automatically start when connected to the vehicle's Bluetooth. The steps are as follows:

  1. Enter Driving Mode using the method described above.

  2. Tap the first icon on the left side of the bottom Dock to switch to the "More Apps" list.

  3. Tap "Settings", enter "Auto-start on Bluetooth Connection", turn on "Auto-start HiCar Smart Travel", select the vehicle Bluetooth, and then tap "Enable".

    From then on, when you get in your vehicle and your phone automatically connects to the vehicle Bluetooth, Driving Mode will start automatically.
